Preferred birth doulas
Tamara Kankowski
Tamara is the founder of Stork Helpers. She wants to use her own varied experiences to give moms evidence-based feedback about the many choices available. Tamara offers judgement-free information and support to empower mothers to make their own decisions in this sometimes overwhelming time of life. She is amazing and so incredibly supportive during pregnancy, the birth, and postpartum. Her comprehensive doula care even offers a custom childbirth class. She can also encapsulate your placenta after the birth if you’d like her to.
Tayler is amazing! She is a fellow homebirth mom and also Emily’s main birth assistant. She is so valuable in the birth space! She is very intuitive and has a heart of gold! She may seem shy at first, but once you develop a relationship with her, you will feel so completely lucky that you have her on your team! She can also encapsulate your placenta and offer postpartum doula services, if desired. She is a one stop shop!
When she isn’t attending births and supporting women and families, she is busy cheering her 4 children on at their sports and maintaining their growing homestead. Check her out!

Tiffany terry
Tiffany became a doula because she wanted to help women and families as they welcomed new life. Pregnancy, labor, and postpartum are very critical, emotional, stressful, scary, and exciting times for moms and their families. As a mother of three she fully understands the decisions, the emotions, and the potential anxiety that can come along with bringing a baby earth side. Tiffany is an amazing advocate, support, helper, and instant friend. She is one of the most likable people you’ll ever meet. She has had her own varied birth experiences that range from a cesarean to a hospital VBAC to a peaceful HBAC in her own bathtub.
Elizabeth Velasquez
Liz has been a birth doula since 2014. One of her most important roles is to nurture the mother's emotional experience at her birth, not just the physical (which she is also amazing at!). She also teams up very well with the birth partner to help the client feel safe, supported, respected and in control of her birth experience, while surrounded and supported by those who love her the most. Liz is also a founding member of the T.R.I.B.E. Cooperative. She is married and has three beautiful children.
