Professional diagnostic ultrasound services are now available in the comfort of your home offering accuracy, kindness, and convenience throughout your pregnancy journey.
All ultrasounds are performed by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and read by a Board-Certified Radiologist—just as they would be in a hospital setting, but with the added ease and comfort of a familiar environment.
For now, you can choose whether to have your ultrasound done in your home or in my office—a flexible and truly convenient option!

Ultrasona
All diagnostic ultrasounds are performed by ARDMS Registered Sonographers and are read by our Board Certified Radiologists. A written report of their findings will be available 24 to 48 business hours after your appointment and uploaded to your midwife’s portal for immediate access.
Many homebirth families choose to get diagnostic ultrasounds at this beautiful facility with the best staff and equipment available. Your whole family is welcome to come and masks are never required.
Ultrasona is located in Columbus. It’s a far drive for many, but the great location and phenomenal care makes it worth it. They have been offering this skilled service for a few decades now.

Emily will happily refer you for an ultrasound if you would like to use your health insurance. Just let her know if this is your choice.
*Disclaimer: Depending on your health insurance coverage, this choice is often more expensive than paying out of pocket for a private ultrasound (unless you have Medicaid or Tri-care). The cost is the same as it would be if you were under the care of an obstetrician. The cash pay options are often just less expensive.

Would you like the convenience of having a diagnostic ultrasound in your very own home? Well, once a month, a traveling Ultra Sonographer comes to this area. She only charges $350 for this premium service! All diagnostic ultrasounds are performed by an ARDMS Registered Sonographer. Ultrasound exams are sent to a Board Certified radiology company. A radiology report will be sent to your midwife within 24 to 72 hours. You will receive digital images and videos of your ultrasound via email. 3D imaging is available as an add-on during your ultrasound. You can also schedule a 3D/4D ultrasound at a later date. You may invite whomever you would like to come to the ultrasound appointment. Families are highly encouraged to attend. You can also schedule an office scan with her for $300.
