Emily’s Winter and Spring are very booked! Therefore, during the above stated time, Emily may need to schedule occasional Telehealth visits during this time. This must be something you are comfortable with when coming in to care.

May 2026

Two of Emily’s older boys will be graduating college (May 10th) and high school (May 21st) respectively. She will be attending their graduation ceremonies and their graduation parties (May 23rd). If you go into labor during or immediately before one of these important events, Emily will have to call another midwife to replace her. This must be something you are comfortable with when coming in to care.

July 7 - September 9, 2026

Emily takes off time during the summer every year. This is a predictable time that she sets aside for undisturbed time with her family. In-person visits with another provider in Emily’s office (for those who are further along in their pregnancies) and Telehealth visits (for everyone else) will be offered while she is away. This must be something you are comfortable with before beginning care with Emily. This must be something you feel comfortable with when coming into care. Emily will still be available to chat with you via EHR, can write any outpatient labs you may want or need, fax referrals for ultrasounds, etc. She just won’t be available for regular in-person care during this time. Please plan your conception accordingly.

February 2027

Emily will be away on a family vacation. During this time frame, Emily will be strictly unable to accept due dates as she will be out of the country. These dates are firm. All surrounding due dates will be accepted cautiously after mutual discussion and thoughtful planning. Brief Telehealth visits will be offered while she is away. This must be something you are comfortable with before beginning care with Emily. She will still be available to chat with you via EHR (may be limited at times due to limited access to WiFi 24/7), can write any outpatient labs you may want or need, fax referrals for ultrasounds, etc. She just will not be available for any in-person care during this time.
