perinatal visits
What to expect during prenatal visits
This is a generalized overview of some of the things you may expect at each visit while receiving prenatal care with Emily. There are some key topics we generally discuss at specific visits, testing and ultrasounds offered at certain times, etc.
-
Once you have been accepted into care with Emily, she will send you online access to start your chart.
She will schedule all of your prenatal visits after you have thoroughly completed your health chart, signed all of your documents, and paid your non-refundable $500 deposit.
Prenatal visits are on Monday’s and Tuesday’s during the day. She will do her best to accommodate any special scheduling requests, although this is not always possible. Being flexible is very important when choosing a solo care provider.
Once you have access to your chart through the Mobile Midwife EHR app, you will be able to send Emily messages through the CHAT portal in-between visits.
She can help you with writing for any labs you may want or need before 12 weeks, early ultrasounds, early pregnancy ailments like nausea/vomiting, etc.
Even though in-person care has not yet begun, Emily will still be available for you, if needed. She will be thinking of you and your sweet, growing baby often.
